Our Special Christmas Wish For Our Warriors
On this holiday, Our Precious Warriors, We wish to embrace you with our appreciation, With poetry, gifts, and our love, Bestowing upon you our caring thoughts. The perilous sacrifices you endure, Away from your families this holiday season. The emotional and physical wounds you bear, All for the cost of our freedom. We raise our hand in salute to your bravery, Bestowing an honorable gesture, Showing our pride for your dedication, Giving you the greatest Medal Of Honor Of Humanity. Sending you our hugs and our forever adoration, Wherever you are stationed, In the hospital, on a base, or in the field, This Christmas Holiday season away from home. Dorothy E. Tears fall down on the bloodshed ground, Soaking into the tortured earth, Interlocking the battles the past and the future. Flags fly over the setting horizon, Witness to independence rebirth, Awarded by our brave warriors near and far, Weeping for the families left alone, As they struggle by flag covered graves, Saying their final goodbye to their loved ones. In the hospital veterans and warriors fight a new battle, Learning to use their new limbs, Leaving behind their ultimate sacrifice. Others are fighting for our future Against terroristic threat in the world, Leaving their valuable footprints in history. Shedding the tears of life, We will overcome any adversity, Until our warriors come home. Dorothy E. Francis just sent her marine, Frankie, off two weeks ago and requested this valentine poem for her soldier over seas. Many times I am given the most beautiful stories but also the tragic. 385 churches made me Reverend Of Poetry the first ever, for the poetry work I do. It is my special God-given gift and I am truly happy God gave me the gift to help others. I am saddened when I do soldier memorials. I spent two hours learning about her husband and feelings and on I.M. I wrote this poem for Frankie and Francis, two lovers separated by the war.
Love Ya Muahhhhhhhhhh God Bless Ya Poet Dorothy Sis Goodbye My Warrior Goodbye Soft hands trembled from internal anxiety. She saw her warrior board the military plane, Traveling on a journey to join the Iraq war, Feeling such fearful apprehension inside. “Goodbye My Warrior Goodbye,” she hollered to the closing door. Another tomorrow we will dance together again. You are taking my heart with you, my marine, Leaving me with sorrows tears till we meet again. “I remember our special wedding day, When we professed our forever love, Till death do us part, I will always honor our sacred vows with prayer. “Goodbye My Warrior Goodbye,” she whispered. As the plane disappeared above the clouds. Her tears saturated the asphalt runway, Saying a silent prayer for her soldier. “Tomorrow we will dance again, Despite we are separated by the battle. My heart will always hold ya tight, Till we can be together again.” Dorothy E.
