Tribute To My Sweet Children
Last year my lovely granddaughter, Angel, went to heaven, dying from a rare disease and year before last, my other granddaughter, Fallisha, contracted acute Leukemia. Her body was too weak to fight it off. Fallisha was adopted after by the Brewer family after she was found in a box and saved by my grandson, his girlfriend, and me. They were the angels of my heart and this series is dedicated to my angels in heaven, who I will miss terribly. Many days they called me to sing, talk, or raspberry me and now I ache for that call. This is a prayers and a book for little children. Fallisha and Angel, I wanted you to hear this as I write. Fallisha was born with froglike appendages and survived operations to walk and then was called home to be our angel in heaven. We dearly miss you our angels of mine eyes always. Grandma misses you both so much! I dedicate all series to my great nieces and great nephews, Ashlen, Colby, Abby, Emily, Hadyn, and Kimarah too and all of my Brewer grandchildren who I dearly love! I also dedicate this entire series to my adopted niece, Addison, Sis Marianna’s little girl. I also dedicate all to My Sis, Brendee’s great grandson, Cohen, who she is raising love ya both! I love you all my children of mine heart muahhhhhhhh! Jesus should always be the guiding illumination in all of His children’s lives and Just Baby Steps will use old poems and new to build a foundation of love and fun for children. I also dedicate this to the Children’s Hospital Network, who I have been affiliated with for many years. They do special work for the sick children and their families, spreading faith and hope always! The greatest dedication is to Jesus for His loving and caring of all families and His children! Just Baby Steps Will Take You Anywhere You Go As Long As You Go With Jesus!

On the wings of hope glides a spirit, Love becomes the victor, Against turbulent clouds threatening to empower. Earth angels send a refreshing breeze. Spiritual enlightenment reaches beyond the cyber mile. Bringing a smile to the population, Giving the world its loving share, Angels sending wings of happiness and hope. Earth angels use their special talents, Their purpose is another’s comfort to achieve. From their hearts much love flows, Giving all a better day. Dorothy E. God gave you the beauty of the rose, A face to enchant the stars, Special personality with true goodness engraved, Brightening the otherwise dismal world God gave you the greatest talent, To exhilarate the earth with such essence. An intelligent mind plants the winning seed, In the forlorn pockets of the suffering population. God gave you a golden heart, With any exterior of crass inlaid. Pulsations emit with love for all, Extending beyond any galaxy of hurt. God gave you another sacred year, To bestow the blessings on your widespread family. Your inner luminance will always be a torch of comfort, To a world knowing the harshest reality of pain. Dorothy E. Scott © Copyrighted 2003 On The Wings Of Hope Dedicated To All Of The Sick Children In The World! This was written for LaKota and her family. I truly believe we all are a miracle. I believe when we hold hope with our hearts and hands. Miracles do happen. Look at me! When we forget to believe and have hope then our faith wanes and we become lost. LaKota and family, God is the greatest healer and watcher over us all. When we pray for healing and believe, miracles do happen. Each day I get up thanking God for another day and ask him watch over me. I never know what the future holds but grateful I am living to see many miracles I see.
I wrote this special poem for LaKota and you, her family. Praying For You All, Love You Muahhhhhhhhhhh Poet Dorothy LOOKING FOR A MIRACLE Looking for a miracle with faith, I will not be alone in my dismay. God’s love holds me close, Taking my doubts faraway. God holds me in His caring hands, Shielding me from every hurt. He gives me the will to look beyond, For a miracle with His loving comfort. Though my road has become rough to bear, Sickness has invaded the serenity known. I will look for that miracle with hope, Knowing I never stand alone. Dorothy E. Scott © Copyrighted 2004 On The Wings Of Hope Dedicated To All Of The Sick Children In The World! On The Miracle Mile
This poem was written to use for many children but for a special little girl, Aleena. Aleena has cancer and a brain tumor, a very sick little girl needing much prayer. She is currently starting treatments and each day we must pray for her miracle and for many other sick children and their families. I know together we walk, “The Miracle Mile.” So many sick children and their families walk this everyday. I want this to always be a comfort for many who walk, “The Miracle Mile.” Each day I walk, “The Miracle Mile,” and I know times get so trying in my sickness but with God by my side I am blessed with His love. I know with Him, All Things Are Possible. Love Ya Muahhhhh Poet Dorothy Sis THE MIRACLE MILE Come join me for a special journey, Down a road of faith, One I call, “The Miracle Mile.” On this road many miracles, Happen each minute. It is not just one day, But a lifetime with God. Don’t hesitate for none knows, What comes tomorrow. Live today with true hope. “The Miracle Mile” may seem so long, For life has many obstacles. Walking in faith’s sandals, You will easily find your foothold. Come Join Me, My Child! On this special journey, Enjoying our walk with God. The road may seem so harsh, Many ruts barring our way, But God holds our hand, On “The Miracle Mile.” Dorothy E. Just Baby Steps is a book and series name written for the little children of the world and parents. It is dedicated to many but especially Jesus for whom I am writing this book and series for!
I have been a member of the Children Hospital Network for years and recently was asked to write a special poem of a newborn baby in NICU talking to their parents. I know you will be blessed by this baby prayer! A Baby’s Prayer
Dear Father Jesus, Hear my mournful prayer. Mommy and Daddy are crying so much. I lie here in this crib with patches everywhere. Many tubes help me to breath on a machine. Please Father Jesus, Tell my parents I can see them, That everything is going to be all right. I am just napping to regain my strength. Please don’t cry over me! Today I may not be able to talk and see, But some tomorrow I will be coming home to my family. Just believe in my healing for I need you. Mommy and Daddy, Father Jesus is healing me right now. Just keep believing in my healing always. Know Mommy and Daddy I will be all right. Father Jesus told me I was little sick right now, But some tomorrow I will be going home with you! Amen! Dorothy E. Knee deep and going down my life trail, My little legs will carry me far. I might stumble over the stones, But my Jesus is holding me along my way. Wading in his water, I will never drown, He carries me above the angry waves. His love covers me with the warmest blanket, Snuggled within His arms I sleep. He wipes my sorrowful tears away, When I am hurting in pain, I will always love my Jesus, He is my comfort in every thunderstorm. When I am feeling sad without a smile, He sends me His illuminating light, Giving me the strength to conquer all, A lamp for my struggling body. His sunshine enlightens the grief I feel, Giving me an umbrella of His love, Warding away the raindrops of helplessness, I am kept safe from the lightening storms. Wading in his water, I will never drown, He carries me above the angry waves. His love covers me with the warmest blanket, Snuggled within His arms I sleep. I am safe in His arms nestled, Till every new day comes. He then will carry me over the ruts, That always try to trip His little child. Dorothy E. Scott ©Copyright 2015 Just Baby Steps Dedicated To My Sweet Children I love and special dedication for Fallisha and Angel, My little angels in heaven I miss so! I wrote this for a young boy’s family on his passing. Luke Ervin. We love you, Luke. You will be missed! AN ANGEL IN HEAVEN His arms reach out enclosing his family, In a special hug from his loving heart. He sees their tears wiping them away, Holding the hand of Jesus, never to part. The love he left his family, Always in their memories kept near. His laughter drifts on a refreshing breeze, To lighten the grief of his family so dear. Sapphire clouds are his playground, Places where other children play. His smile radiates among all the other angels, Watching over his family day by day. Dorothy E. Scott © Copyrighted 2003 On The Wings Of Hope Dedicated To All Of The Sick Children In The World! This was written for two precious children in Heaven, Dustin Little And Payton Griffin and their families. For All Families who lose their loved ones
The time we spend with our children is so dear. Our memories become a special stairway to keep our loved ones close to us. If tears could build a miracle then yours was built long ago. I got this idea from the site of Dustin Little who will be a beacon in this poet’s heart forever. God Bless You Hugs And Kisses Love Ya Praying For All! Poet Dorothy IF TEARS COULD BUILD If tears could build a stairway, Our steps would extend beyond the farthermost star, Though our memories will always be a lane, Where our heart will travel o’er. If tears could build a tower, It would be the highest in the universe, Reaching to Heaven beyond the sun, Where we could bring you back again. If tears could build a miracle, Our arms would hold our angel again. Though our love will hold you forever, Our special angel, God has taken home. Dorothy E. Those twin angels are so cute two angels of God those sweet little brothers are truly the miracle of life. I was so proud to write this poem for those adorable angels. Hey that makes me like the God-Poet Aunt I reckon making the boys famous. Love ya muahhhhhh Poet Dorothy TWIN ANGELS Brothers sitting in God’s loving hand. Wearing invisible wings on their back. Bare feet has yet to caress the glassy sand. Twin angels starting a long journey on life’s track. Truly miracles, a shining halo for their family. Waiting to experience the newness, life brings. Many miles they will travel on their childhood journey. Keeping aloft their invisible angel wings. Twin angels with many things to learn along the way, With the helping hands of their loving family. Their angel wings will always stay, Keeping their halo bright in their parent’s security. Brothers sitting in God’s loving hand. Wearing invisible wings on their back. Bare feet has yet to caress the glassy sand. Twin angels starting a long journey on life’s track. Rett, I love you so much written for our twins, Brendan and Breadon. February 2, 2002 Poet Dorothy E.
