Your roads seems so impassible at times, Smudged by the grime of life and events. Your smile has become tilted to a frown, Dealing with so many bittersweet moments. The day has brought you melancholy and dismay, Leaving you shackled in a world of pain. You have become so lost in your sickness, Leaving you caught in a whirlpool of peril. Stones have bruised your tender feet, Leaving them shorn from the constant abuse, You must endure in your life journey, Leaving you helplessly intertwined in your struggles. With Him you can conquer all your troubles. His love will cover all of your disabling pain, Leaving His breath of refresh to heal your aches, Giving you His spiritual illumination. Reviving your tortured spirit, He will cleanse away your blemished soul, Leaving His love implanted to nurture, Seeding your body with His new pious nutrients. His Light Waits To Comfort
Somewhere a sick wayfarer struggles in the darkness. He is lost in a mind puzzling labyrinth, Without a compass to guide his way. His footsteps become more unsure every walk, Leading him in the ominous circles in his life, Letting in the torturous tempests of uncertainty. He has not yet look to His ominopotent Savior, Preferring to stay lost in the tides of distress, Suffering from the disease manifesting inside. He has not discovered, “His Light Waits To Comfort.” His love will send away all the disdain and sickness, Healing him emotionally and physically. He doesn’t have to stay isolated in his hurt, Far from the illumination of The Lord. Jesus is waiting to hold him close. Only His spiritual illumination can console his weakened spirit, Lost in the quicksand bed of sickness, Drowning from the torturous undertow. Without Him I Was Lost
Bleak corridors used to line my heart. I was so lost without a clue. Dismal chambers lurked in my mind’s oracles, Leaving webs clinging of deceit, lined. My body became a flaming chamber, Without illumination to enlighten. I became so lost in the dankish interior, Needing the comfort of The Lord. Without The Lord I became a hermit, Preferring to bask in the darker corridors. Hidden away in the recesses of the unbeliever, I became entrapped in the murky waters. Now I rejoice with a satisfied mind, Feeling His spiritual illumination warm my body. From the chilled dark chambers, I arose to conquer all. Somewhere There Is A Cure
Somewhere there is a cure, One that can’t be medically explained. It will be a healing balsam for all of my afflictions. Believing in my total rejuvenation of my temple, I can withstand any perilous darts thrown at me, Bridge over any flaming beds of any mortar. Somewhere there is a cure for all of my illness. When medical tests fail to find the answers, Jesus always knows the right medicine to give. While doctors search for answers to perplexing symptoms, Performing many tests to learn the necessary route, A caring Father always keeps me in His loving arms. He gives me the faith to journey each mile, Knowing I am never isolated in my hurt and pain, He will always be my Protector in every way. I was lost in the endless circle of life. Disease had manifested in my barren chambers. I felt so isolated in my lost in sickness. The Gospel of Peace sandals will shod your feet with serenity, Giving you the comfort of His love always. Your feet will carry you through every torturous pathway, Protected by His grace on every journey. The Shield Of Faith will quench all flaming darts, Thrown at your innocent body, Letting not the despair and fear enter, Hindering the endless cycle of sin threatening. Brandishing The Sword Of The Spirit, You will be guarded by The Lord, Keeping away any demonic intrusion. You will be kept safe with His judicial hand. Since I have placed my entire life, In my Lord’s capable hands, I have found an eternal light. No obstacle in my way, Threatening to destroy my secure foundation, Will be allowed to penetrate. Just A Walk With Him
Today I awoke to another agonizing pain, Altering my every physical footstep. I know my day will become harder to bear, Without Jesus holding me close. Just a walk with Him will make my life happier. His love will cover me with a blanket. Sending warmth to my aching bones, A needed relief in this disabling sickness. I need not stand alone in life. Waiting to send away the dismal moments, He weeps over the discomfort I feel. His sensitive heart hates to see his children suffer. When I cry He hears my call for help, Replying with His spiritual illumination, Leaving me to bask in His healing, His light brings me His special relief. Giving all of His love to console my weary heart, I am never isolated in my illness. He sends me laughter and smiles, Making me have a more better day. Just a walk with Him has made my life whole, I have a caring physician to heal me, Knowing every ailment harming. He will never give up on me. He knows my footsteps may falter, Becoming lost from the perilous journey. His loving hands are ready to carry me o’er, Raging rivers and predators will never capture me. My Faith Has Made Me Whole

Seeing Only Your New Beginnings
Your way has become so difficult to walk, Bearing great burdens to carry. Your unsatisfied mind can find no relief. All illumination seems to fade. You are failing to look toward the light, Listening to the dismal tone of your doctor, You realize you have become lost in your sickness, So deep you lost all hope. Seeing only your new beginnings, You can breath His purity in your struggling body. The road might not be easy to conquer, But He will travel every footstep for you. You mustn’t lose faith in your every endeavor. Each journey will carry you fearful places. Walking not alone you will persevere, By holding his nail-scarred hand. When the moments become so torturous in your life, Reach out to Him, who waits to help. His spiritual healing will rise you from your pit, Freeing the bittersweet fingers of apprehension. Lose not the ability to see your new beginnings, For His blessed vision will direct you. When we are broken and bruised, From the tortures cast on our serene waters, Leaving us floundering in the raging waves, We feel so isolated in this torrential storm. His love always finds a way, Providing us His ultimate blessings, Giving us a harbor of safety, Where our weary bodies can find rest. His pious arms will shelter us from every storm, Illuminating us with His healing light. Sending away the storm clouds of life. We are healed by His words and love. We will never be alone in our dismay. He watches over His innocent lambs, Bathing them in His rebirthing river of life, We are always made whole by His grace. His love always finds a way, Providing us His ultimate blessings, Giving us a harbor of safety, Where our weary bodies can find rest. Guarding over His cherished family, He is the warrior, who never sleeps, Listening to every pleaful call, Every supplication is heard with His tender heart. Dorothy E.
