I was seated in x-ray in Temple V.A. when nineteen year old soldier, Devon, was brought in in wheelchair. I was walking with my dolomite I wore my braces; which I have hand, leg, and foot braces. He asked me I was in the war I told him no but I helped other warriors and I was a Chaplin. This poem is the story he told me that day of his miracle. So many warriors out there have a miracle story to tell and many have gone home. I was the female Chaplin he told the story to. Now I give you his miracle that night.
Devon this is your miracle poem from Jesus! Many warriors will hear and see Jesus’ miracle! So continue to pray for our warriors and their families! Without His Grace “ Without His Grace I Would Be So Lost,” A warrior was telling his story to the Chaplin! Lovingly she held his hand, Telling him Jesus is always there. In the wheelchair he fidgeted moving his legs. He started telling his tale of his miracle. “The enemy was approaching with grenade launchers and deadly mortars. Leaving us scared in a dirt dug foxholes with sandbags. They were firing rapidly in the darkness. The fiery glow was lighting up our area. The captain was talking on the radio reassuring us, When it suddenly went silent, so dead. We looked over at his foxhole in flames, Saying a prayer for his departing soul. His body was being covered by medics. Many bodies already lay on the ground. Anxiety had reign upon our troops, Being pulled back to the safety area. I was instructed to recover the captains papers, Lying on the ground in disarray. Rifle fire erupted in the darkness, I felt the burning in my legs, arms, and thigh. I had been hit eight times, But I recovered the Captains war journal. I had to crawl back to the safety line. No one saw me struggling. The enemy was approaching very near. I knew I was alone in the fire. I heard a very comforting voice in the darkness, Saying, “Freedom Warrior, I am holding you.” I knew it was Jesus protecting me. His words spurred this wounded soldier along. My colonel picked me up in his arms, Telling me Jesus told him about me. He told me my body glowed gold in the darkness, Leading him to save me. Jesus is still my miracle in my plight, As I struggle with my braces and prosthetics. Without His grace I would have been captured, His guiding voice brought this wounded soldier home. Dorothy E. When General Scott was a young boy, he came to me led by Jesus, A young boy wishing to be the greatest soldier like his Great Grampa Joe! I taught him the greatest soldier is first a warrior for Jesus. I am a warrior for Jesus despite these crippling attacks and finishing this book as His gift. We all can be a warrior for Jesus with the right heart. Through the years I counseled him and watched a young boy grow into a mighty general. He and I continually talk, my adopted son, Jesus sent me, as you see General Edwin Scott was an orphan, abandoned at an early age. His parents were killed in a house fire. His only possession was the army flag he carried and a picture of his Great Grampa Joe in a pocket watch he still carries today, making his parents and great grampa proud. He lost his own wife to cancer. He has two sons all serving in the armed forces. He has taught then the same road to Jesus, I taught him many years ago. I would tell him, “Eddie, You were born to win with Jesus by your side. In August, I met General Scott in person and I was so touched he hunted me down to see me. He told me he loved me and thank you for guiding him to be the greatest warrior. He told me Mom, I don’t want to ever lose you. Thank you for being my parent through all these years! I spoke today with my adopted son, General Edwin Scott, who I counsel still, telling him, Remember with Jesus by your side, you will have the ultimate win. You will always win any battle. He tells his battalion, “Always know with Jesus by your side you will always have the ultimate win.” Today with Jesus by your side you all will all have the ultimate win. There is no battle too great for Jesus! I know I am His miracle, battling death another year! I Was Born To Win Treading through the snow-filled fields as a boy, He carried an army flag with a grizzly bear in his backpack, Carrying it as a reminder of his Great Grampa Joe, Who had perished in the Vietnam War many years before. He had built him a sword, pistol, and rifle, Delicately carving it from old picture, Identical to the weapons his grampa had carried. He too wore the weapons with pride. He would tell his Great Grampa Joe, “Someday I will make you proud, Serving my country as you did. I will protect our freedom with my life too! He went to school learning all he could, Serving in the boy scouts and trail blazers, Learning to cope in the wilderness, To use someday in the armed forces of freedom. His trail blazer leader was gravely wounded by a hurt grizzly bear. Ravaging their camp site one summer. He bravely held off the beast off with a small shovel, While his troop pulled the bleeding leader away. He told the bear, “ I was born to win. I have Jesus at my side in this battle.” The raging grizzly ran away Leaving behind a boy determined to save his troop and his leader.” General Scott to this day carries the name, Bear Hearted in honor of his bravery and courage with Jesus. Leading many battalions in Iraq, He asks The Lord to always be at his side. Wearing a metal band on his right wrist, Carrying the scars of the grizzly bear on his arm. Making Great Grampa Joe proud of him, Many of his soldiers come home to their families. He loves each soldier honoring them all with a grizzly bear cross, A special reminder, “ With Jesus they would always win any battle.” On his fallen he places the same flag with Jesus’ face, Saying Soldier ‘You have won the ultimate battle! A female soldier was on guard duty, Listening to the sounds in the distance, Watching the skies light up with flashes of red. She knelt for a moment on her painful knees, Saying, “Father I was an orphan, So full of bittersweet and pain. “I blamed you for the many years I endured, Never realizing You are always there, My parents abandoned me on a church step one day. I know I failed to realize You were there, Caring for this sad girl so lost in heart. I lived in only isolation of pain and dismay. Father, I have so far to go, A soldier lost on this freedom journey, I watch the death and destruction around me. I just want to say Father I know what Your love really means now. Accept this misguided orphan in your eternal robe. Nobody ever loved me but You! You hold me when I am sick and alone. Thank You Jesus for caring for me. “Many more warriors out here are feeling sad. Please show them too, They don’t have far to go to You.” “Shots rang out lightening the darkness with its flame. A voice said in the night, “Your Father stopped the bullets meant for you, My Child!” Dorothy E. Scott © Copyrighted 2015 The Master’s Hand (Seventh Book In Lost In Sickness Series!) Mortars Could Never Take Me Away
The telephone call came early one frosty Christmas Eve morning, Your daughter is wounded in the Roanoke Rehab Hospital.. They would take them to visit her in her hospital bed, Wounded in a rehabilitation hospital faraway. They prepared themselves for the harshest reality, Knowing their daughter was in a military hospital center, Wounded from a battle in the war, Not knowing how bad their daughter was. The finely dressed soldiers knocked on their door, Decorated with many angel lights, twinkling. A Christmas Tree had presents underneath, Awaiting the arrival of their soldier, daughter. Praying hands were emblazoned with lights, Remembering our warriors overseas with the words, God Bless All Of Our Freedom Fighters. Jesus Watch Over Them With Your Sword. In her hospital room, they saw many female warriors in iron beds, Greeting every one with, “God Bless You All And Praying For You! Many had bandages, braces, and casts on their heads, arms and legs. Caring doctors and nurses watched over the wounded warriors patiently. They were led to a bed of a female hardly, recognizable. She had bandages all over her body. Both her legs was suspended in the air. One arm was casted to the shoulder in a sling. She looked at her parents with a grin, Telling them, “It’s ok Mom and Dad, Jesus said, Mortars Could Never Take Me Away, Though I am going to be mighty sore for awhile” “Christmas presents will have to wait, But Jesus is watching over me. Celebrate for all the wounded warriors, Stuck in the hospital this Christmas Day!” Her parents said a private prayer For all warriors fighting faraway, Wishing their family will never have to spend Christmas day, With a loved one in a Military rehab hospital. They thanked Jesus for the spiritual gift to their family, When He didn’t let the mortars take her away, Knowing this holiday season many would die for our country’s freedom. Many families will give the most sacred gift ever, a warrior’s life. Dorothy E. Scott © Copyrighted 2015 The Master’s Hand (Seventh Book In Lost In Sickness Series!) Dr. Muk, Love Ya. The world is falling with the demonic dagger, Leaving chaos and dismay in its evil wake, Leaving homeless people scrounging in trashcans, While drug dealers rule the streets with violence in its wake! I refuse not to see the desperate plight before me, Reaching out my helping hand to alter, Making the world a more stable place, Where the desperate will not be left in isolation. A young handicapped child struggles to walk, While a wounded warriors is being fitted with a prosthetic arm. A school teacher holds a crying child, Who has fallen and skinned his knee. My prayers will be uplifted to help all, No matter if it is a drug abuser or a weeping mother. The Lord waits to hear every prayer, Answering any difficulty with His loving grace. He understands temptation make the innocent sin, Leading them to the pit of destruction, Led by the evil criminals lurking in the street, Who beguile the innocent with serpentine words. I refuse not to see the desperate plight before me, Reaching out my helping hand to alter, Making the world a more stable place, Where the desperate will not be left in isolation. My words and prayers can be a comfort for all, Whether isolated in their sickness or actions. The Master’s Hand can remove the curses of the evil, Bringing eternal peace to the afflicted. Dorothy E. The road of life is long and tedious, Bearing treacherous cliffs and crevasses, Places where the innocent will falter and fall, Leading them to sink in quicksand beds. Trembling hands tore off the top of the official envelope, Telling that her warrior son had perished in the war. He was leading a battalion across terrain under heavy fire, When a rocket grenade exploded near him. Hiding from the pain inside, She started her industrious day, After saying a prayer for all warriors and their families, Knowing her soldier son watched from Heaven. He had joined the army for freedom’s fight, Braving the deadly tyranny with great responsibility. He gave his life for the cause our freedom, Giving the greatest Christmas gift to all, his life. Christmas Eve he would be laid to rest, Full military honors for her hero. The greatest gift a warrior gives is his dedication, Courageously he braves the frontline. Hiding from the pain she nursed her wounded warriors that day, Telling them how much they meant to her, While inside her tears were flowing free, For her warrior son, who had found his eternal home. Sitting by a dumpster, a drunk ate a molded bread slice, Appeasing his hunger in his empty tummy. Beside him a half bottle of whiskey was laying, A witness of the life he now lived. He was lost in the iniquities of man, Relying on the cruel world to endure, His world had collapsed in the Vietnam War, Lost in the nightmares of tragedy. He knows all the answers can’t found in a whiskey bottle, But it covers the lonely nights of internal pain. Frostbite had taken all of his fingers and toes, Living on the treacherous streets alone. He fails to hear The Lord calling, His name has become lost in the alleys of past pain, Bringing in the hurt of the future, He remains lost in his world. Jesus is watching for His acceptance, But He knows someday he will see. No lost will ever be denied His love and healing, He waits for his heartfelt call. Dorothy E.
