Lord, My tortured hands are reaching out for You! I have to look beyond the sickness, Knowing You are the ultimate healer, I am so lost in my dismay! The pain becomes so hard to bear at times, Needing a relief from the aching body. I need the healing balm to give me comfort, Seeking you in a silent prayer, I plead for solace. When I cry out in pain, You are always there, Consoling me with Your blessings, Giving me the strength to endure another day. Leading me away from the jaws of defeat. Though I could never understand my sickness, You help me to believe with faith, Giving me the will to persevere, Though my body is weakening from the strain. I may face many obstacles with my health, But I know that Your love is guiding me. Your knowledge will keep me on the healing road, Far from clutches of this disabling pain. Your decks are rustic planks, termite ridden, Needing a cleansing sweep of the clinging cobwebs. Predators lurk in your living quarters. They leave an ominous trail of destruction within, Deteriorating your inner walls with corrosion, Leaving rotted lumber in your internal foundation. Let His Light Shine On Your Angry Sea! Life weakened your heart with its darts of helplessness. You become so lost without faith in your gait. You felt the world collapsing in your spirit, Watching your helpless body writhe in agony. The doctor’s words, “I am sorry there is no cure, or control!” Your eternal structure yearns for relief beyond medical healing! Without remorse the intense pain rules your heart, Though the light of Jesus continues to shine its love. Sometimes life sends you an obstacle your body can’t fight. No spear and armor will protect me from its thrust. This wounds your fragile temple, barely standing, Leaving you lost in sickness and dismay. Each day becomes a hardship to endure. You question how much your innocent body can take, Wishing for a permanent release from your torturous journey. You reach out in hardship praying, “Lord Restore My Dying Faith!” “Let a little light shine in my heart, Giving me the illumination to survive in this life, Where disease has birthed in my holy sanctum, Let not my days be without Your Healing Hand.” Amen! The lady was struggling from a disgruntled mind. Lost in sickness, depression had bore its perilous head. Letting anxiety become her ruling hearth, Her weakened will became tarnished by time. Letting negativity become her primary emotion, Her body physically and emotionally began to backslide, Quickly careening down a dangerous slope, She became too close to the brink of a harmful crevasse. Sadness had taken over each moment of her life. Preferring to bask in her solace of self pity, She became submerged in a quicksand bed. In her pain she failed to see Jesus’ hand reaching out. A brain stroke had destroyed all of her muscles in her left side. She had blamed God for her debilitating condition, Helplessly she became lost in her sickness. Her weakened will just plunged her in darkness. She must reach out to capture His illumination, Letting Him take over her crippled body. Believing in on His healing is the true road to be made whole. Grieving for things you cannot change, Bringing you much dismay in your shattered heart. Feeling emotions of uselessness thoughts, You have become shackled by your fears. Broken and bruised your body screams out for relief, Bringing you feelings of lost in sickness. You feel your world has collapsed under continuous strain, Needing a shelter from the torturous moments. You see yourself buried deep in a pit, Preferring to stay basking in this sauna of self pity, You become submerged in a swap of bittersweet. Your dismal outlook of life has become poor. Look toward His light each dismal thought. Let His love release those foreboding ideas. His living water will release the searing afflictions, Bringing you total serenity of your torn spirit. I extend my arms to You, My Precious Savior. My body has become manifested by sickness, A festering sore inside I cannot bandage, Breeding me illness of an unknown cure. Hold me close when the torrential storms seek to drown me, Leaving me helplessly entrapped on this sinking rock. When the painful attacks physically cause me agony, Keep your comforting arm around me, holding me close. May your love always cover any obstacle in my life, Keeping me from the tidal waves in my body, Destroying my internal structure with its malicious bite, While I am helplessly I am lost in this sickness. Send the feeding pirahnas away from my fragile spirit, Releasing every apprehension threatening to battle. My spirit has become broken from the lashes of deceit, I need you to conquer every fearful moment. I release my entire body, spirit, soul, and mind, Giving you the full control over this disabled body. I ask you to continually watch over me, Catching me when I stumble from faith. Three hundred and sixty five days a year, Jesus watches over his struggling children. He sees their every hardship and any distress. He never leaves them alone in their life moments. Weeping sorrowful tears, He holds out His loving arms. Feeling such love for His family, His heart is hurting over the sadness and every dismay. He see them grieving over a lost soul, sending comfort He protects them with His spiritual sword, Warding away the predators threatening. Morning and night He keeps His faithful watch, Letting not the malicious hunter harm them. Three hundred and sixty five days a year, Jesus watches over his struggling children, Sending them His blessings on every mile, They are never left alone to face the world. He sees their laughter over the joyous things, Making His heart fill with warmth, Smiling at all of His family’s antics, He feels such adoration in it all. Your body has become invaded by sickness. Infection is destroying your fragile tissue. You are losing your will to heal from a sickness. Doctors offer no hope for your healing. You are depending on your body to heal by itself, But it has become a disabling cornerstone. You rely on doctors to give you medicine and answers. When those are no longer available, It is so easy to get lost in sickness. Every blessing you need in your healing is, Always provided by Jesus without a cost. It takes you want to believe in Him and all His miracles. When you are allowing bittersweet thoughts, He can give you His illumination to enlighten your mind. His bountiful knowledge can lighten your torturous load. His loving guidance can carry you over the searing flames, Letting His living water extinguish the embers. No coals will be allowed to sear your tender feet. Every blessing you need in your healing is, Always provided by Jesus without a cost. It takes your need to believe in Him and all His miracles. His Illumination Waits Always
Are you feeling desolate and all alone? Is your every waking hour bringing you depressive thoughts? Look toward His eternal love! His illumination waits always. Cast your burdens upon His holy waters. Let all dissension be swept in in a bottomless pit. The gentle tides will carry all your hurt away. Your future will no longer harbor bittersweet. His illumination will enlighten every dismal chamber, Bringing you relief for the thorns bedded. No sorrow can beset your spiritual faith. You must always believe in Him fully. Temptation has captured the foolish heart. Helplessly you have been captured in a locked cage. By the enticement of diabolical intrusion, You have shackled your soul to the flames of agony. They can only be released by His loving grace. Let His love carry you away from the torturous stand, You have chosen to roost your weary body on. The walls seem to be collapsing around you, Leaving remnants of fear and apprehension, Causing you to doubt your future. You see only the dismay of your sickness, Leading you on a pathway of despair, Far from feeling the serenity of Jesus. Sickness has no foundation in His loving mansion. His comfort will console your bleeding heart, When you lean on His love to conquer all! Feel His illuminations warm the water, Covering you with its torrential waves. Threatening to drown you in its continual sorrow. You never have to alone in your illness. His hands will cover the searing tissue, Cocooning you in His healing robe forever. Leaning on His precious breath of healing to sustain, She knows He is always watching over her, Waiting for her every call in her every attack. I felt the struggling clutches of dismay. My worried mind could not bear the cycle of sickness. Apprehension has become the hearth of my every emotion! I listened for the whisper of His voice, Knowing I couldn’t bear another day of this disease alone, For my world had become a perilous struggle. His words to me echoed through the air, “Feel Not The Pain! Let me take all of your fear away! Give Me all of your worries!’ You will never be alone in life, Traveling any road I will journey with you, Feeding you the necessary nutrients to feed your hunger.” “Feel Not The Pain, My Child! He suffered so many grave injuries, losing his extremities and severely burned but Corporal Randy Trevorski is still drawing.
He did the picture drawing of my soldier for my front cover of my new book, I painted in honor of him and all of the wounded warriors, “A Warrior’s Tears.” Corporal Randy is one of the wounded warriors, I have been counseling and so love. His wounds became his lost in sickness but he is healing under Jesus guidance, because he trusted Jesus! God Bless Ya All Pray For Our Warriors And Their Families! Love Ya Muahhhhhhh Poet Dorothy Braving The Future Corporal Randy was clearing a building, When a propelled grenade exploded a foot from him, Sending him plummeting sixty feet below onto the rock walk. Carried to a hospital in France for emergency transport, He was brought to San Antonio for severe burn treatment. Sixty percent of his body was burned, severely seared. Walking with crutches in a rehabilitation hospital, Wearing prosthetics on left arm and right leg, He faces many painful treatments now. His left eye was severely damaged leaving only blurs, Needing surgery to fix the torn lens, He struggles to overcome his lost in sickness and dismay. His strength and will was implanted by his deep faith, Knowing Jesus was making every walk his new miracle. He would someday rise above the torturous journey now. Walking would be only one handicap to overcome, For he faced many more surgeries to heal his burns. He would take each new step with His Savior. Braving the future, he will be guided in every endeavor. Jesus will carry him over the rough spots and the calm. His love and healing would always be his miracle mile. Dorothy E.
